Organisers of ìpàtẹ Aṣa has announced a new date after being forced to shift the event due to covid-19 concerns and other contingencies.
This announcement was made by the chairman of the planning committee, Mr Tope Akin Adeleye, the Director of Public Relations And Communications of the Ondo State Ministry Of Culture and Tourism in Akure the Ondo State capital.
The President of the Yoruba Heritage Group, Omo’ba Segun Adesemoye also confirmed the new date to newsmen. He said preparations are in top gear to make the event a very successful one.
Ìpàtẹ Aṣa is an event organised by the Yoruba Heritage Group in partnership with the Ondo State Government through the ministry of culture and tourism development and it was designed to celebrate the culture heritage of the Yorùbá people.
The components of the event includes an exhibition of cultural arts, crafts and traditions of the Yoruba nation, a beauty pageant tagged: Omidan Aṣa, a lecture and awards to reward selfless service and invaluable contributions to community development.
Then event will now hold on the 21/22 of April 2021 at the Ondo State cultural center, Adegbemile, Akure.
